I do sometimes like to take part in photography competitions and here are some updates from competitions from last year and the early part of this year. For anyone thinking of entering a photography competition or international photographic salon then I think it is well worth a go. Read my update here.
I am delighted to have work included at the Winter Open Exhibition in the Sou Sou West Contemporary Art main gallery, located at the Symondsbury Estate in Dorset.
I am pleased to be exhibiting with other local artists and makers in the Journeys Exhibition in the Sou Sou West little Gallery on the Symondsbury Estate in Symondbury, Dorset. The Exhibition runs from the 11th October to the 27th October 2024 and is part of a themed exhibition on Journeys.
The Dorset Arts and Crafts Association (DACA) are holding a large Arts and Craft event including competitions for photography and various mediums, along with Guest Exhibitions. There will be various items on sale from makers and artists/photographers from all across Dorset. The DACA Showcase event runs from the 2nd August to the 6th August 2024
I was very pleased to receive the news from Isabel and Danielle at Art and Beyond framers and art Gallery, based in the lovely Dorset town of Beaminster, that my Fine Art Limited Edition print – Sea Breeze has found a new home. Thank you to Isabel and Danielle for the beautiful bespoke frame which complimented Sea Breeze so well and thank you to the new owner.
I am pleased to supply some of my creative Dorset Impressions, fine art, open and Limited Edition mounted prints to Herringbone of Charmouth, Dorset, along with a selection of greeting cards.
A selection of Fine Art, open edition and Limited edition prints in a contemporary style of Dorset Landscapes and Seascapes, along with creative collections will be available as large format prints through Saatchi online gallery in a selection of sizes and Fine art quality materials ranging from canvas, acrylic and metal.
I am delighted to have work included and for sale in the Art & Beyond Gallery at Beaminster in Dorset which coincides with Dorset Art Weeks that runs from the 25th May 24 to the 9th June 24. Dorset Art Weeks consists of over 260 venues and over 500 artists and makers, which celebrates the best of fine art, craft and making across the county. The biennial event is organised by Dorset Visual Arts of which I am a member Artist.
WCPF Members Exhibition and Cheltenham International Salon 2024
I have been looking forward to getting back into the studio and for the Spring and Summer months, along with a little more warmth. I can be visited at the studio by appointment, as I have a number of pieces of my work on the walls, these are for display purposes but happy to discuss where I acquire frames from local framers that I use currently.
