Summer Breeze at Golden Cap, Dorset.

Living along the Jurassic Coast of Dorset enables me to have many opportunities to observe the stunning coastline and variation of this world heritage location, one of them being at Golden Cap, which can be easily accessed through Seatown, Chideock, there are some amazing walks and scenery there and also at Charmouth, a little bit further along past Morecomelake in Dorset. Charmouth also has the Heritage Coast Centre which gives a fascinating insight into the ecology/geology and fossils found along this part of the coast.

I have visited Golden Gap at varying times and seasons over the years which gave me the idea to create this new painterly scene of Summer Breeze at Golden Cap, I wanted to reimagine a colourful summertime scene with a summer breeze gently blowing though the grasses in the foreground and to bring back memories of special holidays that I spent at Seatown and Charmouth as a child.
