Journeys Exhibition at the Sou Sou West Gallery in Symondsbury, Dorset. From Friday 11th October to Sunday 27th October 2024

I am pleased to be exhibiting with other local artists and makers in the Journeys Exhibition in the Sou Sou West little Gallery on the Symondsbury Estate in Symondbury, Dorset. The Exhibition runs from the 11th October to the 27th October 2024 and is part of a themed exhibition on Journeys, which could be the artist’s journey in terms of an artistic style or a literal one in terms of places visited and of which inspired the artist/maker to create the art work.

My journey theme is based around my trip to Dartmouth in Devon last Summer. I wanted to create a series of Impressionistic scenes, using the Intentional camera movement technique and building layers to create this painterly effect and to capture the essence of Dartmouth in the Summer. The series is called Dartmouth impressions and they are available to purchase through the Sou Sou West Gallery as signed, framed Fine Art Prints.

Sou Sou West little Gallery and Shop.

The Sou Sou West Gallery is part of the Lyme Bay Arts CIC which is community based and is about promoting the arts and artists/makers from around the South West Region. The Symondbury Estate is a lovely place to visit with shops/cafe, farm animals and various walks around the locality and to Colmers Hill. I hope you can pop in for a visit.
