A couple of updates on some Exhibitions and Events in Dorset that will be held in August 2024.
The Dorset Arts and Crafts Association (DACA) are holding a large Arts and Craft event including competitions for photography and various mediums, along with Guest Exhibitions. There will be various items on sale from makers and artists/photographers from all across Dorset. The DACA Showcase event runs from the 2nd August to the 6th August 2024
Dorchester Camera Club of which I am a member are among the Guest exhibitions. I am included within this exhibition, along with a number of the talented members of Dorchester Camera Club. I was very pleased to have joined Dorchester camera club a couple of years ago, as it’s been a great source of inspiration and a friendly and inclusive club from beginner to advanced photography.
I hope you are able to pop along to this great event which is held at the Purbeck School in Wareham, Dorset.

Can You Hear Voices? in the Open Category of the Photography Competition at the DACA showcase event 2024, along with a Highly Commended Award for Godwit Ballet in the Nature Category. Lot’s of fantastic and varied work entered within the competition so I was very pleased with the result.
