Southern Nature Art Exhibition 2025

I was delighted to hear that I had two prints selected for the Southern Nature Art Exhibition that is held annually at Rookesbury Park, Wickham, Hampshire. I entered a themed section which was “Into The Blue” and my prints selected were Reflected Reeds and Velocity.

It is the largest Independent Nature Art Exhibition in the UK, set up by Artists to support each other whilst also raising money for various Wildlife charities. All mediums of nature art are represented at this exhibition by various artists throughout the South and UK, from photography, paintings to craftworks and sculptures. Velocity is a creative Dorset Coastal print in a Limited edition of 50, observing the power of the waves crashing onto the shore at West West in Dorset on a stormy day, It is a combination of two images taken on the same day, one with slow exposure and the other with a fast shutter speed to capture the details of the movement, combining a softness and flow and a window into the ocean. Reflected Reeds. Limited Edition of 75. This is a photographic art work, taken at Lodmoor Nature Reserve in Weymouth, Dorset. It was a beautiful sunny day and I saw this clump of water reeds that were growing separated from the bank with the reflections mirrored in the calm blue water. I wanted to create a calm and peaceful nature art image for the walls. Reflected Reeds with also be available as a Fine art print within my print shop soon.
